Last updated 1 April 2026

These terms govern your use of the Encore platform and services. They are written to be read, not buried. If anything is unclear, please contact us directly at studio@encorella.com.

01

About Encore

Encore is a celebration of life planning platform operated by Encore Studio. We provide a private digital environment in which clients can articulate, develop, and store their vision for a bespoke farewell event, and the advocacy and expertise to bring that vision to life through the right specialist team.

Encore is not a funeral director, estate manager, legal advisor, or financial planner. We are not an event execution company, we do not operate our own in-house production teams. Our role is to help you build a complete and considered brief, and then to find, brief, and manage the right specialist on your behalf, wherever that event needs to take place.

We are with you from the first reflection to the final execution. Your family inherits a plan, not a process.

02

The platform and your subscription

Access to the Encore Digital Atelier is provided under an annual subscription. Your subscription gives you ongoing access to your private planning environment, where you can build, refine, and update your celebration brief at any time.

Your plan is a living document. We encourage you to return to it as your life evolves, as relationships, preferences, locations, and circumstances change. The platform is designed to accommodate this.

Subscriptions are billed annually. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, your account and its contents will remain accessible until the end of your current billing period. After that point, your data will be retained for 12 months before permanent deletion, unless you request earlier removal.

Encore reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing with a minimum of 60 days' written notice to existing subscribers.

03

The Mirror brief

Completion of The Mirror, our guided reflection questionnaire, is offered at no cost and carries no obligation. You are not required to subscribe to the platform in order to complete your Mirror brief.

Your Mirror responses are stored securely under your account and are not shared with any third party without your explicit consent.

04

Planning consultation and partner engagement

When you are ready to move from planning to execution, Encore acts as your advocate in identifying and engaging the right specialist event management firm for your needs.

Encore is not an execution company. We do not maintain an in-house team of event producers, florists, caterers, or venue managers. Every celebration is personal, and could take place anywhere in the world. Our role is to understand your brief deeply, and then go to market on your behalf to find the best available specialist team for your specific location, scale, and style.

Before any firm is engaged, we conduct a market search and present you with a recommendation. You are involved in and informed throughout this process. Nothing is confirmed without your explicit approval.

A one-time planning partnership fee applies at the point of engagement. This covers Encore's work in researching, identifying, briefing, and managing the specialist team on your behalf. The fee will be communicated clearly before any commitment is made.

Encore remains your liaison, quality manager, and advocate from the point of engagement through to execution. You will not be left to manage the planning relationship alone, we are with you throughout.

05

Vendor relationships and commercial arrangements

Encore works with a curated network of specialist vendors, including florists, caterers, venues, audio-visual suppliers, photographers, and others, who may be engaged in the execution of your celebration.

In some cases, Encore receives a referral fee or partnership margin from vendors engaged through our platform. These arrangements are made between Encore and the vendor. They do not affect the price you are quoted or charged by the vendor. You will always be presented with the vendor's actual quoted cost.

Some vendors pay an annual fee to be listed within Encore's curated network. Inclusion in this network is subject to Encore's quality standards and is reviewed periodically.

These commercial arrangements are standard practice in the premium events industry. We disclose them here in the interest of full transparency. If you have any questions about a specific vendor relationship, you are welcome to ask us directly.

06

Your data and privacy

The information you share with Encore, including your Mirror responses, planning preferences, personal details, and uploaded content, is held in strict confidence. It is stored securely and accessible only to you and authorised Encore staff.

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties except as required to deliver the service (for example, sharing relevant elements of your brief with your appointed planner, with your consent).

Your data is stored on infrastructure located in Australia. We comply with applicable Australian privacy law.

You may request a copy of your data, or request its deletion, at any time by contacting us at studio@encorella.com.

07

Intellectual property

The content you create within the Encore platform, your brief, your vision, your uploaded materials, remains yours. Encore does not claim ownership over your personal content.

The Encore platform, its design, copy, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of Encore Studio and may not be reproduced without permission.

08

Limitation of liability

Encore provides a planning and facilitation service. We are not responsible for the actions, quality, or conduct of third-party vendors or event management firms engaged through the platform, except to the extent that we have failed to meet our obligations as your advocate and liaison.

To the extent permitted by law, Encore's liability in any circumstance is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the relevant event.

09

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email with a minimum of 30 days' notice. Your continued use of the platform after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
